Missouri HJR191 proposes a constitutional amendment to establish a permanent joint committee on conservation oversight. This committee will consist of six members: three state representatives and three state senators, with at least one member from the minority party in each house. The committee will review and vote on requests from the Department of Conservation and the Conservation Commission, including changes to rules and regulations, property purchases, and director selections. Members will not receive compensation but can be reimbursed for expenses.
