Missouri HJR151 proposes a constitutional amendment to allow a personal property tax exemption. The amendment would exempt household goods, furniture, wearing apparel, and articles of personal use and adornment owned and used by a person in their home. The amendment also allows for restitution to political subdivisions for lost revenues due to the exemption. The amendment would be subject to voter approval.
