Missouri HJR144 proposes a constitutional amendment to provide property tax exemptions for certain veterans. For veterans with a disability rating less than 100%, real and personal property taxes will be reduced by a percentage equal to the veteran's disability rating. For veterans with a 100% disability rating, all real and personal property will be exempt from taxation. The amendment also includes provisions for replacing lost revenues due to the exemptions.
