Missouri HJR111 proposes a constitutional amendment to allow the Kansas City Public Schools to establish an operating levy for school purposes at a rate lower than the court-ordered rate for the 1995 tax year. This amendment would also move the taxpayers of the district under the taxpayer protections of Article X of the Missouri Constitution. The amendment would expire on December 31, 2026, and would require approval by a majority of the voters of the district.
