Missouri HB3505 modifies the State Board of Mediation's election process for the chair position.

Missouri HB3505 changes the rules for the State Board of Mediation's chair election. The board will elect a chair at its first meeting after August 28, 2026, and annually thereafter. If the chair position becomes vacant, the board will elect a temporary chair until the next annual election. The board consists of five members: two employers or labor association representatives, two employees or labor union members, and one neutral party. Two members are appointed for one year, two for two years, and one for three years, with subsequent appointments lasting three years.
