Missouri HB3493 modifies election provisions, including voter registration and death certificate reporting.

Missouri HB3493 repeals and replaces existing election provisions with new sections. The Department of Health and Senior Services must report monthly on death certificates to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State must notify the public under the Help America Vote Act of 2002. A centralized computerized statewide voter registration list, the "Missouri Voter Registration System," must be implemented by January 1, 2004. The system will include unique identifiers for voters, and will be used for voter registration, election results, and other pertinent information.
