Introduced Text

Establishes provisions for college and career readiness assessments in Missouri high schools.

Missouri HB3489 establishes provisions for college and career readiness assessments in high schools. It allows public institutions of higher education to adopt policies using ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate credentials. High schools must administer these assessments to students before graduation. The state board of education will implement these provisions through rules. If any rule is found unconstitutional, the grant of rulemaking authority and subsequent rules are void.
