Modifies provisions relating to the unauthorized practice of medicine and surgery in Missouri.

The bill modifies provisions relating to the unauthorized practice of medicine and surgery in Missouri. It specifies that it shall be unlawful for any person not a registered physician to practice medicine or surgery. It excludes the administration of subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injections by a licensed nurse when ordered by a physician and within the scope of practice of the nurse. The bill also defines "surgery" and "practice of medicine across state lines." It exempts certain physicians from needing a Missouri license under specific conditions.
