Establishes a Sickle Cell Standing Committee within the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to study and recommend improvements for.

The bill creates a Sickle Cell Standing Committee within the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The committee will assess trends in sickle cell disease populations, existing services, and needed state policies. It will develop recommendations for educational services in schools and submit a report to the governor and general assembly by December 31, 2027. After this date, the committee will continue to meet at least once annually to study sickle cell disease and provide annual supplemental reports.
