HB3401

Missouri HB3401 establishes workplace violence prevention measures in health care settings.

Missouri HB3401 creates provisions to prevent workplace violence in health care settings. It mandates that facilities establish a workplace violence prevention committee to develop a plan, which includes defining workplace violence, offering training, and prescribing a system for responding to incidents. Facilities must also provide post-incident services and make the prevention plan available to employees. The bill prohibits discrimination or retaliation against employees who report incidents or participate in the prevention plan.
