Missouri HB3396, known as the Missouri Corporate Power Reset Act, prohibits artificial persons from exercising political spending power unless expressly allowed by law for political committees. Political spending power includes paying, contributing, or disbursing money or value to support or oppose candidates, parties, or committees in state elections. The bill voids any corporate act involving political spending power and subjects violators to forfeiture of charter privileges. The act takes effect January 1, 2027.
