Introduced·2/24/26
Introduced Text

Missouri HB3385 mandates preference for Missouri-grown agricultural products in state purchases.

Missouri HB3385 amends Chapter 34 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section, 34.072, which requires the commissioner of administration to prioritize Missouri-grown or Missouri-produced agricultural products in state purchases. This preference applies if the products are available in sufficient quantity, are of good quality, and do not exceed the cost of similar products produced outside the state by more than ten percent. The competitive bidding process remains applicable to these purchases.
