Introduced·2/16/26
Introduced Text

Missouri HB3317 allows drivers with revoked licenses due to traffic offenses to reinstate their licenses by installing intelligent speed assistance.

Missouri HB3317 introduces a new option for drivers whose licenses have been revoked due to traffic offenses. Instead of serving the full suspension period, eligible drivers can apply for reinstatement by installing certified intelligent speed assistance devices in their vehicles. These devices, which use GPS to limit vehicle speed to posted limits, must be maintained for at least twelve months. The state highways and transportation commission will certify qualifying devices and publish a list of approved options.
