Missouri HB3295 revises the composition and rules of the Clean Water Commission.

Missouri HB3295 repeals and creates new provisions for the Clean Water Commission. The commission will consist of seven members appointed by the governor, including representatives from agriculture, industry or mining, publicly owned wastewater treatment works, and the public. Members must have knowledge of conservation and water contaminants. The governor cannot appoint anyone with a substantial interest in regulated businesses. Members must recuse themselves from discussions and votes if they have a conflict of interest.
