The bill establishes the "Missouri Four For More Program," allowing parents of students in kindergarten through grade twelve to receive up to four hours of paid leave annually to work with their child's school. Employers can claim a tax credit equal to fifty percent of the hourly wage paid to participating employees, up to a maximum of fifty thousand dollars per tax year. The tax credit is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward beyond four subsequent tax years. The program will sunset six years after its effective date unless reauthorized by the general assembly.
