Missouri HB3235 modifies and repeals provisions relating to duties of the joint committee on education. The bill repeals sections 21.487, 135.714, 160.405, 167.950, 173.680, 173.750, and 633.420, RSMo, and enacts new sections in their place. The new provisions include guidelines for charter schools, dyslexia screening, and financial accountability for educational assistance organizations. The bill also establishes a task force to review and recommend a career exploration course for high school students.
