Introduced Text

Missouri HB3186 clarifies the definition of "public swimming pool" to include community-based pools serving five or more households.

Missouri HB3186 amends the definition of "public swimming pool" to include community-based pools serving five or more households, such as those maintained for use by residents of apartment complexes or housing communities and their guests. This change affects individuals convicted of certain offenses, prohibiting them from being present within 500 feet of such pools, public parks with playground equipment, athletic complexes, children's museums, or Missouri Department of Conservation nature or education centers. The first violation of this restriction is classified as a class E felony.
