Missouri HB3181 repeals and replaces Section 21.110 of RSMo to change the procedure for filling vacancies in the general assembly. If the governor receives a resignation, notice of vacancy, or notification of a member's death, they must issue a writ of election within ten days to fill the vacancy, unless it occurs less than ninety days before the general election. The election must occur within sixty days of the writ's issuance.
