HB3177

Missouri HB3177 establishes immunity for racing facilities from nuisance actions for typical racing activities.

Missouri HB3177 amends Chapter 537 by adding a new section, 537.298, to protect racing facilities from nuisance actions for typical racing activities. This immunity applies if the facility obtained all necessary permits and established a vested right before surrounding property owners purchased or constructed buildings. Typical activities include engine noise, public address systems, track lighting, dust, race-day traffic, and event scheduling.
