HB3174

Missouri HB3174 establishes emergency response protocols in schools, including real-time mapping, panic alert systems, and training for staff.

Missouri HB3174 mandates that school districts and charter schools provide emergency response maps to local law enforcement, ensuring compatibility with existing security software. These maps must be oriented true north, overlaid on school floor plans, and contain site-specific labels. The bill also requires the implementation of a wearable panic alert system for school employees, enabling real-time coordination between emergency services. Additionally, schools must provide training on emergency protocols and the use of panic alert devices.
