Missouri HB3147 introduces new regulations for the sale of kratom products. It prohibits dealers from selling kratom products adulterated with dangerous nonkratom substances or containing synthetic alkaloids. Dealers must also disclose the amount of mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine on product labels and cannot sell to individuals under eighteen. Violations can result in fines and misdemeanor charges. The bill also allows for private legal action for damages from violations. The Department of Health and Senior Services will implement these regulations.
