HB3112

Missouri HB3112 establishes provisions for retired law enforcement officers to obtain identification cards for concealed carry of firearms.

Missouri HB3112 creates a process for retired law enforcement officers to receive identification cards that verify their eligibility to carry concealed firearms. The bill mandates that law enforcement agencies issue these cards upon payment of a fee. The card includes the officer's photograph, name, address, date of birth, and signature, and states that it does not authorize the holder to act on behalf of their agency or carry a firearm while under the influence. The card has an indefinite expiration date, and agencies must maintain a roster of retired officers issued these cards.
