Introduced Text

Missouri HB3084 reduces fees for micro-businesses during their first 24 months of operation.

Missouri HB3084, the Small Business Start-up Fee Reduction Act, reduces fees for micro-businesses with three or fewer employees, excluding the owner, during their first 24 months of operation. The Department of Economic Development will coordinate with the Secretary of State to establish a fee-reduction schedule and publish it annually on their website. The bill also reduces or waives annual registration and report filing fees for micro-businesses during their start-up period and ensures no penalties or late fees are assessed for first-time filings if reasonable efforts are demonstrated.
