HB3004

Missouri HB3004 regulates the sale of wood products, requiring that products marketed as wood must have a decorative surface made of solid wood or.

Missouri HB3004 amends Chapter 407 by adding a new section that mandates businesses cannot sell or market products using the term "wood" unless the product's decorative surface is made of solid wood or wood veneer. This applies to various wood species, including oak, maple, cherry, pine, and walnut. The Department of Agriculture is authorized to create rules and regulations to enforce this provision, which must comply with state administrative procedures.
