SHORT_SUMMAR: Modifies provisions for leaves of absence for military service for public employees
Modifies provisions for leaves of absence for military service for public employees. It entitles public employees who are members of the National Guard or reserve components of the Armed Forces to leave of absence without loss of time, pay, regular leave, efficiency rating, or other rights or benefits. It also prohibits discrimination against these employees for their military service. The bill repeals and replaces sections 41.942 and 105.270, RSMo, to reflect these changes.
