Introduced Text

Establishes the "MO GIVES Program" to allow Missouri National Guard members to receive living donor medical orders.

The bill establishes the "Missouri Guaranteed Inclusive Voluntary Exceptional Service (MO GIVES) Program" to allow members of the Missouri National Guard to receive living donor medical orders. Members can apply to participate if they meet certain criteria, such as being in good standing with the department and not being eligible for employer-based benefits. Upon approval, the department issues a living donor medical order guaranteeing paid leave for up to 45 days, exempting the member from using accrued leave, and providing allowances.
