Introduced Text

Missouri HB2929 sets tuition rates for districts not maintaining a high school through twelfth grade.

Missouri HB2929 establishes provisions for districts not maintaining a high school through twelfth grade to pay tuition to the receiving district. The rate of tuition is calculated by the receiving district and must be provided to the sending district before March 1 each year. The cost of maintaining a grade level grouping is determined by the board of education of the district. If there is disagreement about the amount, the facts are submitted to the state board of education for a decision.
