HB2881 prohibits individuals convicted of certain sex offenses or similar offenses in other jurisdictions from being within 500 feet of Missouri state parks, public swimming pools, athletic complexes, children's museums, and nature or education center properties. The first violation is a class E felony. Exceptions are made for parents, legal guardians, or custodians of children attending programs on nature or education center properties, who may receive permission to be present.
