HB2771

Missouri HB2771 extends federal Servicemember Civil Relief Act protections to National Guard members on state duty.

Missouri HB2771 amends state law to provide federal Servicemember Civil Relief Act protections to National Guard members called to state duty. This includes members of the Missouri National Guard and Missouri employees who are members of the National Guard of another state. The bill ensures these individuals receive the same reemployment rights and protections as those provided by Title 38 of the United States Code and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. The attorney general is tasked with enforcing these rights.
