HB2736

Allows Missouri residents to register and vote on the same day.

Missouri HB2736 repeals and replaces existing sections of state law to allow citizens aged 17 years and six months or older to register and vote on election day. The bill permits registration at any location designated by the Secretary of State, the election authority of the voter's jurisdiction, or at the voter's assigned polling place on election day. It also outlines who is ineligible to vote, including those under a sentence of imprisonment, on probation or parole for a felony, or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor related to suffrage.
