Missouri HB2732 changes the fee a political subdivision can charge for water service line repairs or replacements for residential properties with four or fewer dwelling units. The bill allows a fee of up to two dollars per month or twenty-four dollars annually. If approved by a majority of voters, cities, towns, villages, sewer districts, or water supply districts can impose this fee through an ordinance. The collected funds must be used solely for the repair or replacement of water service lines.
