Missouri HB2725 modifies property disclosure requirements for radioactive or hazardous material contamination.
Missouri HB2725 mandates that owners, sellers, landlords, or other transferors must disclose in writing any knowledge of current or previous radioactive or hazardous material contamination to current or prospective lessees, purchasers, or transferees. Failure to disclose such contamination allows the lessee to terminate the lease at no cost. Additionally, if a government agency requests a signed right of entry to test for such contamination, the transferor must inform any current or prospective lessee, purchaser, or transferee.
