Missouri HB2717 modifies provisions relating to self-storage facilities. It allows rental agreements to be executed electronically and considers continued use of the leased space for thirty days as acceptance of the agreement if not signed. The bill prohibits occupants from using the facility after receiving notice of nonrenewal or termination of the rental agreement, giving them at least fourteen days to remove their property. It also establishes a lien on stored personal property for unpaid rent and other charges, with priority over other liens except those perfected and recorded.
