This program includes scheduled testing of every hydrant, repair or replacement of broken hydrants, a plan to flush every hydrant and dead-end main, and maintenance of inspection, testing, and flushing records for six years. Additionally, within five years of August 28, 2020, each hydrant location must be identified using a geographic information system or an alternative physical mapping system.
