HB2659

Missouri HB2659 establishes a statewide mechanical contractor licensing system.

Missouri HB2659 introduces the "Missouri Statewide Mechanical Contractor Licensing Act," creating a unified licensing system for mechanical contractors across the state. This act allows contractors with local licenses or equivalent out-of-state credentials to obtain a statewide license, exempting them from local licensing requirements. The Division of Professional Registration within the Department of Commerce and Insurance will oversee the licensing process, including issuing, renewing, and revoking licenses.
