Missouri HB2653 permits public school students to possess and self-apply sunscreen regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration without needing parental or physician authorization. If a student is unable to self-apply sunscreen, a school employee may assist with written parental consent. Neither the employee nor the employer is liable for adverse reactions or for discontinuing sunscreen application.
