HB2643

Establishes the "Hope for Missouri Patients Act" to allow access to individualized investigational treatments for eligible patients.

The "Hope for Missouri Patients Act" allows eligible patients with life-threatening or severely debilitating illnesses to access individualized investigational drugs, biological products, or devices. Eligible patients must have considered all FDA-approved treatments and received a physician's recommendation for the investigational treatment. The act defines terms such as "eligible facility" and "individualized investigational drug, biological product, or device." It also outlines the information that must be provided to patients, including potential outcomes and risks.
