Missouri HB2630 modifies the procedure for filling vacancies in the general assembly.

Missouri HB2630 repeals and replaces section 21.110 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, changing the procedure for filling vacancies in the general assembly. If the governor receives a resignation, notice of vacancy, or notification of a member's death, a writ of election must be issued within seven days, unless the vacancy occurs after the fortieth Tuesday before the end of the member's term.
