Establishes the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact to allow licensed respiratory therapists to practice across state lines.

The bill establishes the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact, a multi-state agreement to facilitate the interstate practice of respiratory therapy. It allows licensed respiratory therapists to practice in other member states under a Compact Privilege, provided they meet certain requirements. These include holding an active license in their home state, completing a criminal background check, and not having any adverse actions against their license in the previous two years.
