Introduced·1/7/26
Introduced Text

Missouri HB2582 modifies MO HealthNet eligibility by requiring applicants to terminate enrollment in other programs.

Missouri HB2582 introduces changes to the eligibility requirements for MO HealthNet benefits. It mandates that applicants who are currently enrolled in another state's Medicaid program or a qualified health plan through a health benefit exchange must terminate their enrollment to qualify for MO HealthNet. The bill also allows applicants relocating from an uncooperative state to provide a certificate of nonenrollment from that state. The MO HealthNet division must expedite verification of an applicant's enrollment status in other programs.
