HB2574

Allows graduates of certain programs to petition the court for limited driving privileges.

This bill allows individuals who have successfully completed certain programs to petition the court for limited driving privileges. These privileges are subject to specific conditions, such as the installation of a certified ignition interlock device and proof of financial responsibility. The court may grant these privileges if it finds that the individual no longer poses a threat to public safety. The bill also outlines scenarios where limited driving privileges may not be granted, such as for commercial drivers or those convicted of certain felonies.
