Missouri HB2554 modifies provisions relating to exemptions from minimum wage. Beginning with the 2028 calendar year, the threshold amount will be adjusted annually by the percent increase or decrease in inflation. The department will determine the percentage increase or decrease in inflation as of the preceding July over the level as of July of the immediately preceding year of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for the United States as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, or its successor index.
