HB2530

Missouri HB2530 modifies scrap metal recycling regulations, including licensing requirements and reporting obligations for metal recycling entities.

Missouri HB2530 introduces new regulations for scrap metal recycling entities, requiring them to obtain licenses from the Department of Revenue. These entities must report sales of regulated metals, including copper, brass, bronze, aluminum, and catalytic converters, through an electronic reporting system. The bill mandates that metal recycling entities provide specific information to the Department of Revenue, such as their business name, physical address, and contact details. The Department of Revenue is directed to maintain a publicly accessible list of licensed entities on its website.
