Establishes a tax credit for labor costs at qualifying newspaper printing plants in Missouri.

HB2527 creates a tax credit for labor costs at qualifying newspaper printing plants in Missouri. This credit applies to all tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2026. A qualifying newspaper printing plant is defined as an entity headquartered in Missouri that derives a majority of its printing revenue from newspapers intended for public distribution. The tax credit is equal to fifty percent of the labor costs incurred by the taxpayer during the tax year. The Missouri Department of Revenue may promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section.
