Missouri HB2524 modifies existing provisions to allow cooperation with federal authorities on immigration matters and mandates training for law enforcement agencies. It permits communication and cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement regarding an individual's citizenship or immigration status, provided there is a clear and documented public safety concern. The bill also allows municipalities and political subdivisions to collect and share identity information using the same means as the FBI's Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System.
