HB2517

Creates provisions relating to certain disclosures by a real estate wholesaler

Chamber Passed·4/13/26

Missouri HB2517 mandates disclosures by real estate wholesalers before entering into contracts for residential real property.

Missouri HB2517 requires real estate wholesalers to provide written disclosures to property owners before entering into contracts for residential real property. The disclosure must be separate from the purchase contract and printed in boldface type font size not less than twelve points. The disclosure statement must be signed and dated by both the wholesaler and the property owner. Failure to provide this disclosure allows the property owner to cancel the contract without penalty and seek damages. The Attorney General is responsible for enforcing the provisions of this section.
