Missouri HB2470 amends the state's veterinary practice act to include provisions for livestock reproductive specialists. These specialists, trained in advanced reproductive technologies, can perform tasks such as removing an embryo or oocyte from livestock, transplanting such embryo or oocyte into another female livestock animal, cryopreserving such embryo, or implanting an embryo into a livestock animal. These activities must be carried out under the indirect supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
