HB2394

Missouri HB2394 establishes provisions for licensure reciprocity for plumbers across political subdivisions in the state.

Missouri HB2394 creates provisions for licensure reciprocity for plumbers, allowing political subdivisions to recognize valid plumber's licenses from other areas within the state. This bill ensures that a plumber holding a current license from another political subdivision can operate in a new jurisdiction without needing to pass the local licensing exam. The reciprocity applies to apprentices, journeyman plumbers, and master plumbers, but not to plumbing foremen. The bill also extends reciprocity to those who obtained their licenses before August 28, 2026, provided they passed a test.
