Missouri HB2354 modifies provisions relating to child abuse or neglect. It allows police officers, law enforcement officials, or physicians to take a child into temporary protective custody if they have reasonable cause to believe the child is in imminent danger of serious physical harm or threat to life. The temporary protective custody cannot exceed twenty-four hours and must be within a hospital, medical facility, or emergency foster care facility.
