Allows students to possess and apply sunscreen at school without parental or physician authorization.

The bill allows public schools, including charter schools, to permit students to possess and self-apply sunscreen regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration without needing parental or physician authorization. If a student is unable to self-apply sunscreen, a school employee may assist with application if the student's parent or guardian provides written consent. Neither the employee nor the employer will be liable for any adverse reactions or for discontinuing the application of sunscreen.
